Incentivise · Staff bonus programmes

Bonus plans your team can watch move.

Incentivise builds and runs staff bonus programmes end to end. Set the reward, upload the job data you already export, and AI drafts the KPIs. Every employee gets a live view of their progress, and payroll gets the final numbers the day the period closes.

Built for trades teams · Scales to 100+ staff · NZ-built

How it works

Five steps from plan to payday.

  1. 01

    Build the plan

Start from scratch or pick a template. Set the reward amount, the bonus period and the targets that have to be met.

  2. 02

    Upload your job data

Export a file from the job management system you already run. CSV, Excel, JSON and XML all work.

  3. 03AI-drafted

    Confirm the KPIs

AI reads your fields and suggests the metrics worth rewarding, each explained with a worked example. Confirm, edit or remove.

  4. 04

    Assign and invite

Pick who's on the plan. Invitations go out by email or SMS, with an optional video message from you.

  5. 05

    Watch it move

Dashboards update the moment new data lands. Milestone emails keep everyone posted, and the plan closes itself on the end date.

AI-drafted KPIs

Your job data already knows what’s worth rewarding.

Export a file from the job system you already run. Incentivise reads the field names, works out what they mean, and suggests KPIs you could build a bonus on.

A short wizard walks you through each suggestion with a plain-English explanation and a worked example. Confirm the ones you like, edit the near-misses, remove the rest. Confirmed KPIs save as templates for the next plan.

Only the header row and one sample row are sent to the AI. The rest of your file never leaves Incentivise.

The reverse bonus

The money goes on the board first.

Most incentive schemes ask a tradesperson to chase a target for three months and take it on faith. The reverse bonus flips that: the full amount is visible from day one, and it stays theirs while the work holds up.

01

On the board from day one

The full bonus is set aside when the period opens. Your team knows the number they're protecting from the first job of the quarter.

02

Deductions carry their paperwork

Every deduction needs a reason, a date and an amount before it exists. The employee is notified by email or SMS the moment it's raised.

03

Right of reply, on the record

The employee responds with their side of events. The employer reviews it, then withdraws the deduction or lets it stand. Both outcomes are recorded.

Features

Everything around the bonus, handled.

Employer drill-down

Every plan, every person, one screen. Click a plan for team KPI charts, click a KPI to see each employee's numbers.

Milestone emails

Progress notes go out at 25, 50 and 75 percent, then a final result when the period closes. The bonus stays in view all quarter.

Video invitations

Attach a recorded message to the invite. It plays once, when the employee first activates their account.

Period close, handled

Plans close on their end date, payroll or your HR contact gets the outcome email, and the record archives read-only.

Reusable templates

Bonus structures and confirmed KPIs save as templates. The second plan takes minutes to set up.

Exports on demand
